Course Description:

This course will focus on implementing strategies to break down tricky or difficult problems. Students who like a challenge will enjoy this course, but it can be useful for any student.

Many of the examples and homework exercises that students see in class are straightforward, yet they often feel that problems on tests are more difficult or unrelated. This class will allow students to practice using prior knowledge to solve “new” problems and will give them the confidence to respond to unexpected obstacles.
