Course Description:

Composing and producing music can be an all-encompassing activity for an aspiring musician. Rather than just reading scores or memorizing a piece, students will discover the joy of making music themselves while also learning the fundamentals of composition and production.

Students should have some prior knowledge of musical theory (such as the study and practice of a musical instrument) to get the full benefits of this course. Students may want to purchase materials in order to continue their work outside of the course, but the instructor will be able to provide materials that students can use during the sessions.
