Biography

I grew up in San Jose and attended Lynbrook High School before earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from Stanford University. After graduating, I worked as a software engineer at Google. Currently, I am a student in Asian American Studies at De Anza College, and I plan to continue graduate school in the field.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, one constant has been my focus on teaching and mentorship. I have worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in math, computer science, and computer ethics, taught programming fundamentals to students ranging from high schoolers to adults, and published research on computer science education. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a collaborative learning environment where students can develop their confidence in thinking critically and asking questions.

In my free time, I like to drink tea, relax at home, and hang out with my cats.

Happy Parents and Students

"The most helpful part was getting practice tests and being able to go over everything I got wrong in our next session. It helped me realize common areas that I was struggling with for the MCQs so I could study those questions specifically."
