Growing up in the Bay Area, I had the opportunity to learn and indulge in other cultures and experiences. I was placed in a Spanish immersion bilingual school, which allowed me to graduate high school fully certified in Spanish translation. I was very self motivated and excited about school and at times needed a little extra help. Tutoring helped me tremendously in my academic career. I love being able to work somewhere that allows students like me to thrive and move forward with their academics.

Having previous experience with both tutoring and receiving help from a tutor has taught me it is of the upmost importance to create a safe and motivating environment for our students to study in. I appreciate the opportunity to work with a team that also prioritizes creating such an environment; I believe it is what allows our students to be so successful.

In my off hours, I can be found painting, sketching, hiking, trying new foods, or simply binge watching my current favorite TV series.
