Liam Abrams

Biography

I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with degrees in Physics and Mathematics, where I developed both a love for problem-solving and a knack for helping others understand challenging material. Some of my favorite moments in college came from working through difficult concepts with classmates — breaking problems down step by step and finding new ways to make the ideas click. That experience sparked my interest in tutoring, and I look forward to bringing the same clarity and enthusiasm to my students.

I see tutoring as more than just teaching content; it’s about building confidence and curiosity. My goal is to help students feel capable of tackling tough problems, while also showing them that the challenge that comes with learning can be rewarding.

Outside of academics, I enjoy playing basketball, making music, working on tech projects, and spending time reading or watching films. These creative and active pursuits keep me balanced and bring fresh energy into my teaching.
