Course Description:

Like many things in life, figuring out what you’re good at and learning how to find jobs that align with your strengths and interests is a skill – and skills can be learned! This class will help you turn job ideas that “sound interesting” into concrete plans for next steps in education and training, wherever your passions may lead you. Along the way, you’ll learn important professional skills that will help you shine in applications, interviews, and beyond.

Over the course of the class, students will explore careers based on their interests and prospective majors, understand how to build and customize a resume, practice professional communications, and learn to conduct job searches and prepare for interviews. As a culminating exercise, students will participate in a virtual interview with an expert on our team.
