Alexander Chang-Davidson

Biography

I grew up in Palo Alto and went to Gunn high school, where I had the opportunity as a senior to TA for my APCSA teacher. In college I applied to be a TA as soon as I had the chance. I graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Computer Science and a burning desire to teach, to get to know other people looking to learn about anything and everything.

I have always been fascinated with understanding the world we live in and how things work. This meant understanding the physics of our natural world, and understanding the underlying technology to the internet and the devices we all rely on. I enjoy listening to my students to understand what drives them and makes them curious, and I want to encourage that curiosity and wonder to help them understand their world and how they fit in it.

Outside of tutoring I enjoy playing pickleball at my local park, singing in choir, and biking around town or to work.
