Clarke Taylor

Biography

My journey as an educator began in high school, where I helped tutor younger students and discovered my love for teaching, where I was first able to help students find their “aha” moment. Inspired by my own love for reading and writing, I pursued undergraduate degrees in history and political science at Tufts while spending my summers teaching. Upon graduating, I decided to get my Master’s in education from Stanford before joining AJ tutoring.

At AJ tutoring, I give individualized educational help in history, K-8, and SAT prep. One-on-one tutoring gives me the bandwidth to design personalized lessons that help to ignite a student’s curiosity as well as improve their school outcomes.

In addition to tutoring, I like to spend my free time reading and writing. I consider myself a lifelong learner and am always looking for the next history book or documentary. I also love to rock climb and watch horror movies.
