Biography

I’ve always been fascinated by theories that predict and explain how our physical world behaves. This passion led me to San Jose State University, where I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on robotics.

My background in engineering shapes my tutoring philosophy: I believe that physics and calculus are best learned by understanding the underlying concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I strive to help students see the “big picture,” because once you understand the basic equations that comprise a problem, you can solve them all, from the simplest textbook question to complex, real-world scenarios.

My goal is to help students build the confidence to tackle these subjects with a clear, logical mindset and to inspire the same interest and passion in physics and math that my teachers inspired in me.

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy reading fiction and playing video games. I’m also an avid board gamer, and some of my favorites include Settlers of Catan and Race for the Galaxy.
