Biography

My origin story starts right here in Los Gatos: I attended Notre Dame High School in San Jose and graduated from Santa Clara University with a major in political science. As a tutor, I enjoy helping students reach their fullest potential.

Whether I’m supporting elementary and middle school students learn how to learn or helping high school English students develop their analytical writing skills, I am a firm believer in making sure that every student gets the help they need. If a student’s current learning system is not working, I’m not afraid to switch it up. I strive to personalize all of my lessons for each student and to ensure they are comprehending the material, not just memorizing facts and formulas. I want my students to leave our sessions with a positive outlook and an enthusiasm for learning, and I hope to give them a strong foundation to pursue academics to the highest level they choose.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me watching a new Netflix series, trying to find a cat to adopt, or training for an upcoming running event.
