I was born and raised in the Bay Area and earned a bachelor’s degree in managerial economics with a minor in technology management at UC Davis. Developing a career stemming from teaching has always been a huge passion and goal of mine.
My drive for teaching began in high school when I discovered my natural talent for explaining complex concepts to my peers. I relished the role of a mentor, helping fellow students understand the subjects that challenged them. This early experience sparked a passion that has only grown stronger with time. Witnessing the ‘aha’ moments when a student grasps a concept they have been struggling with is what drives me. I believe in nurturing a student’s potential, not just academically, but also as a lifelong learner and critical thinker.
Throughout my time at UC Davis, I not only acquired valuable knowledge in economics but also cultivated a deep appreciation for the art of teaching. I believe that 1-on-1 tutoring is a pivotal tool in nurturing a student’s potential to its fullest. Every individual possesses a unique learning style, pace, and set of challenges, and it is through the close guidance of a tutor that these aspects can be addressed effectively.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing games, cooking, and watching Netflix.
