Biography

While pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from San José State University in 2025, I had the opportunity to teach discrete mathematics, which hooked me onto the challenge of making abstract ideas accessible. It is this love for abstract ideas and their communication that informs my teaching. I am drawn to subjects in which problems contain statements to be unpacked or concepts to be untangled.

Apart from being a teaching associate for discrete math, I have also taught and tutored for classes ranging from middle school algebra to integral calculus. I try to create an environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and working collaboratively.

Outside of mathematics, I also enjoy reading and spending time with my friends.
