Biography

Having grown up in the heart of the South Bay, in Cupertino, I knew I would pursue math and computer science in middle school after my teachers helped me find my love for the subjects. I supported my community in high school, becoming a CS Mentor at nearby programs, teaching programming skills and app development.

I double majored in Computer and Data Science at UC Berkeley and finished in only 3 years. The years I spent at university were formative for developing my curiosity and love for tutoring and coaching others. I hope to one day continue my education in Computer Science by pursuing a doctoral degree at some point. For the time being, I love learning by educating students.

I believe that building a student’s confidence in a subject can transform the way that they engage with learning. My favorite part of teaching is seeing how students develop their creativity and curiosity once they understand their potential.

Outside of work, I volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind and spend time with my lovely black Lab, Renna. I enjoy reading contemporary novels, cooking new dishes, and going to the movies!
