Biography

I hold an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Physics from Gettysburg College. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of roles, from snowmaking to data analysis. I’m drawn to teaching because it deepens my own understanding and fosters meaningful connections with others.

I believe that taking an interdisciplinary approach helps students find greater purpose in their learning and appreciate how different fields intersect in the real world. By connecting concepts across subjects, such as using physics to understand global economic patterns, I aim to make material more engaging and relatable. This approach not only builds critical thinking skills but also encourages curiosity that extends beyond the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy video games, reading, and traveling.

""Tim Wong was amazing! I needed help in my AP Euro class and he made the content interesting and easy to understand. Each session he gave me a deeper look into the topics I covered during my class which helped me really absorb the material.""
