Biography

I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with bachelor degrees in both engineering and architecture. I first began tutoring others in high school, teaching students at the elementary and middle school levels reading comprehension and essay writing. After returning to the Bay Area where I grew up, I am now dedicated to helping students build their confidence in math and uncovering the fun in learning.

With a focus on Algebra and Precalculus tutoring, I help students build strong math foundations and skills that will help them throughout their academic journeys. In 1-on-1 sessions, I have the opportunity to connect with students and provide individualized assistance for their unique learning situations. After developing a deeper understanding of each student’s strengths and needs, my goal is to teach each student math concepts in a method that makes most sense to them. By working together with the students, I hope to build their self-confidence and interest in learning.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy discovering new music, baking treats to share with my friends and family, and playing Bananagrams.
