Course Description:

Pre-algebra and algebra are full of challenging, abstract concepts and complicated procedures. In this hands-on course offered at AJ Tutoring locations near the Bay Area, algebra tiles provide a tactile way for students to visualize and understand these complex topics.

This class is designed for kinesthetic and visual learners (that’s most of us!) who would like to dive into the “why” and “how” of fundamental math ideas. The content we will cover is appropriate for students entering Pre-Algebra or Algebra I who would like to preview upcoming material and/or strengthen their understanding of previously covered topics. This course can complement the work students do with algebra tutors by reinforcing foundational concepts through hands-on, visual learning.
