Biography

Born and raised in the Bay Area, I am very familiar with its academic culture. While growing up in this environment has taught me the value of hard work, it has also shaped my deep passion for learning. I am so excited to share my experiences with younger students.

I graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in molecular and Cell Biology. One of my most rewarding experiences as an undergraduate was completing a senior thesis in a research lab investigating the genetic mechanisms of aging. I hope to help students understand the real-world applications of biology and inspire them to become curious and motivated lifelong learners, both within and beyond the classroom.

With a background in tutoring school subjects and piano, I believe every student has the ability to experience a successful and fulfilling academic journey. As a tutor, I aim to advocate for and empower students to reach their full potential by helping them build confidence and a strong academic foundation. To achieve this, I am committed to getting to know my students and fostering genuine connections that allow me to better support their individual needs, interests, and goals.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy exploring new coffee shops, staying active outdoors, playing the piano, and spending time with friends and family.
