Biography

I’ve been a tutor almost as long as I’ve been a student, serving as a peer tutor, homework assistant, university tutor, and course teaching assistant. I’ve always found joy in helping someone alleviate confusion and arrive at an approach of thinking they had yet to consider. Nothing is more satisfying than empowering a tutee to gain confidence and pride in their work product.

I am a recent graduate in Philosophy and Linguistics from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, where I found an avenue of education that expanded on my passion for writing, logic, puzzles, the quirks of language, and ethics. My background in formal logic serves as a solid basis for instruction in writing language and reading comprehension.

I am an avid fashionphile who has crocheted and upcycled much of my wardrobe. I love crafting, cooking, yoga, and hiking!
