I experienced great success at school and at university due to some exceptional teachers and know firsthand the impact a great teacher can have on a student. Those experiences motivated me to take up a full-time career in education.
While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I had my first experiences as a tutor teaching science and math middle school students. I completed my master’s degree in physics from Osmania University, Hyderabad, in India, and I went on to work as an Assistant Professor in Physics for several years, teaching first-year engineering undergraduate students.
My greatest passion in life is teaching, and I excel in assisting students to develop their full potential by adapting to their individual learning style in a 1-on-1 setup. In addition, I strive to create a personal connection with my students so they are comfortable to freely ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of concepts. I believe that the comfort to address uncertainty and re-teach concepts in varied ways is essential to students’ success. Physics often baffles students, so I enjoy helping demystify the process and building my students’ confidence in their own comprehension and problem-solving skills. As a teacher and tutor, my goal is not only to prepare my students for success in their academic pursuits but also to provide guidance and strategies to seek lifelong learning.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, watching cricket, Bollywood dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
