I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, where I studied cognitive science with a specialization in computing. Throughout my academic and professional career, I always had friends and mentors who inspired me and gave me the confidence I needed to succeed. These experiences inspired me to work to uplift community members by providing them with a strong support system as a tutor and mentor.

From working through concepts with my peers during late-night study sessions to shadowing educators in a classroom setting, I have a well-rounded background in tutoring. Across these experiences, I recognized the importance of a strong foundation of core concepts and good study skills. As a tutor, I focus on building foundational knowledge by highlighting key points and catering explanations to each student. I also work closely with my students to find techniques that work well for them in both their academics and in test taking, empowering them with the skills they need to succeed for the rest of their educational careers.

When I’m not tutoring, you can find me baking up a storm with my favorite holiday tunes in the background or painting my favorite scenes from my most recent Netflix binge.
