AJ Tutoring has been the brain child of Joe and Aaron since the early 2000’s. Their goal is to provide high quality tutoring services to the families of the Bay Area. As we have grown over the years, we have been blessed with opportunities to give back to the communities who have opened their hearts to us.
AJ Tutoring is a company built on the desire to give back, strengthen communities, and build a better future for the students we work with every day. Whether that means volunteering at a foodbank as a company, or working with our local high school’s to provide test preparation tutoring to low income families, we put our students first! Our goal is to make education accessible to all, which is why we partner with programs such as AVID & MVLA Scholars to level the playing field when it comes to college admissions.
For too long, the admissions process has been biased towards students of privilege whose families could afford private high quality tutors. Working with organizations such as MVLA Scholars, our amazing test prep tutors were able to provide that same high quality preparation to students who could not afford it otherwise. We are honored to be a part of the journey of these students, many of whom will be the first in their family to attend college. The core values of our company is our passion for the instrumental role that learning plays in our lives and the lives of our students. Education is the easiest way for us to build community and improve the lives of our communities.
