Applicants must have

  • Strong SAT scores in reading, writing, and math (or stellar credentials in specific academic disciplines for academic tutors)
  • Tutoring experience and a record of responsibility
  • A passion for teaching and an enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Patience and flexibility with students with different learning styles
  • An ability to commit to working with us for one full year

Our Los Gatos tutors typically work at one or both of our locations. We tutor a range of subjects including but not limited to SAT Prep, AP English, academic math, and study skills. We support our Los Gatos tutors with support and training culture of training. Each tutor is mentored by and meets weekly with a team leader to discuss, how best to communicate with parents and students, and how to develop as a tutor. If you’re passionate about education, have expert content knowledge, and want to belong to community professional educators. This is the place for you.
