Applicants must have

  • Strong SAT scores in reading, writing, and math (or stellar credentials in specific academic disciplines for academic tutors)
  • Tutoring experience and a record of responsibility
  • A passion for teaching and an enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Patience and flexibility with students with different learning styles
  • An ability to commit to working with us for one full year

Our Palo Alto location is right next to California Ave. and only two block from Cal Train. We’ve been at the same location in Palo Alto since 2006 and have deep roots in the community. Our Founders grew up in Palo Alto and went to Paly High School.

Our Palo Alto tutors teach a range of subjects tutor a range of subjects including but not limited to SAT Prep, ACT Prep AP Spanish, academic Biology, and study skills.

We support our Palo Alto tutors with extensive training. Each tutor is mentored by and meets weekly with a team leader to discuss how to communicate with parents and students and how to develop as a tutor. If you’re passionate about education, have expert content knowledge, and want to belong to community professional educators. This is the place for you.
