Course Description:

This 1-on-1 course is designed to give students who are taking AP Environmental Science in the fall a leg up on the material and is also available for students who have a special interest in environmental science.

The course will move from explaining current environmental problems to a discussion of their causes. The last part of the course will focus on potential solutions to the presented problems and on the major organizations, legislation, and movements that have tried to alleviate environmental destruction (e.g. The National Forestry Service’s “roadless areas” and the electric car movement).

The course will also introduce students to laboratory topics they may see in AP Environmental Science, as well as questions in the AP exam format.

Make the Most of the Summer!

Students who stay actively engaged in the learning process during the summer perform better during the school year.
