Course Description:

AP Latin Bridge is intended to ease Latin 3 or 4 students into the AP material. Latin poetry can be daunting because it likes to throw grammatical rules out the window and set up its own. We’ll look at the works of common AP poets, such as Vergil, Ovid, Catullus, and others, and learn how to scan dactylic hexameter and explore common poetic vocabulary and devices. This course will set your student up to succeed in their Latin class and on the AP exam.
