Creative Reuse Workshop

More and more students are expressing concern about our planet’s overabundance of trash and plastic. More and more students are also developing an interest having a positive effect on our land and oceans through creative expression and the study of creative reuse. AJ Tutoring is a great place for your student to begin or to continue to explore the possibilities of creatively reusing items that would otherwise be destined for a landfill to express themselves artistically!

Course Description:

In this fun and thought-provoking workshop, students will learn about the growing trend of creative reuse, discuss its potential value for our planet, investigate current artists’ endeavors, and – in every class – create their own works of art to take home. Students will brainstorm lists of different materials they often throw away that they could instead incorporate into art, and they will consider ways to creatively present their own ideas through those materials.
