I love seeing people understand new things, and the spark of joy it brings me led me to tutoring.
I attended UC Berkeley for my undergrad and earned a degree in electrical engineering and computer science. Looking back at my own learning journey, I’ve realized how important it is to simplify complex ideas. It’s a skill that I’m grateful to have, and I love sharing it with my students.
Before coming to AJT, I tutored physics at Santa Monica College and worked as TA in a data science class at UC Berkeley. I enjoy sharing my passion for computer science and physics with my students and helping them wrap their minds around tough ideas. I believe it is important to look at concepts from different angles to really master them, so I incorporate a variety of perspectives into my sessions.
Everyone learns in their own way, and I am fascinated by the process of figuring out what will work for each student and helping equip them with tools that work for them. I love using my own experiences to adapt each session to my student!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing tennis, watching movies, and cooking.
