Embracing a deep-rooted passion for technology and data science, I began my academic journey at UC Berkeley to complete my bachelor’s degree in computer science and data science. At UC Berkeley, I not only honed my technical skills, but also solidified my dedication to education.
My experience as an educator is diverse, ranging from teaching technical subjects in the fields of science, math, and computer science to college students and high school students, to leading community and educational initiatives in local high schools in Berkeley and Cupertino. Each role has been a learning experience, teaching me the value of empathy, patience, and personalized teaching approaches.
However, teaching computer science and data science remains a core passion of mine. Guiding students through these intricate topics is incredibly fulfilling, especially when I see my students achieve clarity and confidence with the depth that this field offers. My philosophy has always been one of pushing students to find their academic potential and dream big while providing them with the skills to achieve those goals.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy a variety of activities like building Legos, reading any book I can get my hands on, and building Yelp food adventures for when I next eat out.
