I am originally from Southern California and attended high school there. College brought me up to the Bay Area, and I graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering. I have a passion for new technology and the math that supports it!
I started tutoring calculus to my fellow classmates near the end of high school. I loved the satisfaction of seeing the students I worked with become more relaxed when they realized they were smart enough for calculus. The feeling of seeing someone’s attitude about math transform from stress and confusion to confidence and relief has pushed me to be the best tutor I can be. Over the years, I expanded the subjects I taught to include other levels of math as well as test preparation, including the SAT, ACT, GRE, GED, and high school entrance and exit exams. I have had great success and built life-long relationships with some of my students and their families.
Outside of tutoring, I love to eat and try new kinds of food, and I have played video games professionally: I was in the pro league for PUBG.
