As a San Jose resident for most of my life and a graduate of Santa Clara University, I have a passion for education and for teaching in the South Bay Area. I have several years of experience with tutoring, a background in psychology, and experience as a classroom teacher in elementary and middle school. My experiences give me insight into a variety of developmental levels and a broad range of experiences to draw from as a tutor, and I enjoy dedicating my time to giving opportunities to others in order to help them to reach their highest potential.
I have worked throughout Santa Clara County as an educator, including Campbell, Gilroy, San Jose, Saratoga, and Los Gatos, and I enjoy the diversity of experiences offered within the South Bay. My work has exposed me to various teaching strategies and practices to serve the individual needs of each unique child.
As a lifelong learner, I have always enjoyed both learning and applying math to better understand the world around me and furthering my own understanding of scientific research. I aspire to continue to use what I learn in order to inform my own judgment as a professional educator. Though learning can sometimes be difficult, through patience and effort we can make effective progress.
Apart from teaching, I enjoy reading about history, taking care of animals, and playing music.
