I earned my computer science degree at the University of California, Irvine, shaping the way for my venture into the tech landscape. At UCI, I did AI research for cancer/tumor detection in kidneys, and I am currently pursuing a startup with colleagues from UCI, collaborating with the Merage School of Business and the Stella Zhang New Venture Competition.
My passion for teaching ignited during high school when I initiated a community program in San Jose, focusing on making STEM subjects engaging for neighborhood kids. In the realm of teaching, I strongly believe in challenging students while providing essential guidance. Education, for me, is a journey of exploration and growth, where fostering curiosity and critical thinking is as crucial as imparting knowledge. To be a good teacher requires maintaining a good relationship with your students. Strong relationships allow me to personalize my students’ tutoring sessions and support students in their unique goals.
Beyond academia, you’ll often find me immersed in activities like volleyball, working out, and playing my guitar.
