Biography

I was born and raised in the San Mateo Area and graduated from SFSU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in counseling. I went through the experience of being a transfer student and originally started my college education at the College of San Mateo. I adhere to the quote, “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching,” and I have always felt great satisfaction in being able to support my peers’ education and further my own.

Many students have a fear of asking for help, and I enjoy helping facilitate an environment in which students feel supported ad able to tackle the challenges of learning. Having these opportunities for growth and being a part of the AJ Tutoring community allows individuals to create their own success, and I am glad to be part of that process.

Outside of learning and tutoring, I enjoy watching criminal justice shows, going out to eat, and going on shopping sprees. I also recently started crafting and using my Cricut to customize personal items.
