I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While there, I served as a teaching assistant, I tutored individual students, and led a few small classes. After a few years employed in industry, I decided to return to teaching.
I prefer teaching math and physics, where I believe the key to understanding and enjoying each level is fluent mastery of its foundation. My tutoring style emphasizes mastery of a few widely-applicable techniques and understanding the motivations for techniques rather than just memorizing formulas.
In my free time I enjoy Pathfinder, climbing, Wesnoth, and eating.
