Sample topics include:

  • Sharks! Delve into the unique evolutionary history that makes this particular group of fishes so incredibly successful over their 450 million year existence.
  • Deep sea fishes! What we know and don’t know about these bizarre organisms rarely glimpsed alive in their dark, high-pressure habitat.
  • Tide pools! Do you enjoy hiking along the coast and peering into the tiny pools left behind on the rocks? Examine live specimens and discuss the unique adaptations found in the organisms of the intertidal.
